London-based Psychotherapist/Counsellor

I am a senior psychotherapist and work for Mind, Islington and privately at the Brookfield Park Psychotherapy Practice in NW5. The latter practice is situated in a private house where several therapists work.

I believe that no child is born sad, bad or angry and that therapy works best in a reparative and reflective relationship. My approach is to provide first and foremost a safe and confidential environment in which a trusting and good relationship can develop.

In our work together I will help you in a non-judgmental and supportive environment to explore underlying issues that may be based on early relationships and experiences. These issues can influence your behaviour in the present, and hold you back from experiencing more fulfilling relationships and a more creative life

I draw on a broad spectrum of psychotherapeutic knowledge and tune my approach to match the uniqueness of each person and each particular situation. We would start by identifying the issues you bring, as well as things that are holding you back or blocking you from moving forward in your life. The goal is to work through your issues, enabling change and growth so that choice becomes available again.

The methods I use are particularly helpful in dealing with the issues listed on the left. I am an experienced and highly qualified psychotherapist who works in North London NW5 and Crouch End N19, offering both psychotherapy and counselling.

I invite you to make an appointment for an initial session. This will give us the opportunity to discuss the issues that bring you to therapy. We can then also get a feel for each other and decide together how to proceed from there. To book a session, or if you have any questions, please contact me.
